Scott is a financial professional with over 20 years of experience working within the construction industry both as an accountant and auditor in a large, regional CPA firm and various positions in the accounting department of Bartlett Brainard Eacott, Inc.
While working for a CPA firm for 15 years, Scott performed all facets of financial accounting and auditing for construction entities, including preparation of audited, reviewed and compiled financial statements, preparation of tax returns for construction entities and individuals and audited various entities including construction, real estate and governmental entities.
Scott has managed all aspects of BBE's accounting and finance activities, treasury and administrative functions, including cash management, credit and collections, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, taxation, payroll, human resources and risk management.
Scott is the primary contact person with outside third parties such as banks, insurance brokers, accounting firms, bonding agents, and other outside consultants. Scott understands that business owners want to focus the majority of their time and efforts on growing their businesses, but financial and administrative demands often distract them from their primary objectives. All businesses need sound financial systems and advice to survive. Scott focuses on BBE's cash flow and profitability while providing timely and accurate financial information.
