We value our strength in the communities we serve as we look forward to many more years of building for regional, national and international corporate, academic, manufacturing and community-based clients.
BBE recognizes the impact and value of supporting the communities in which we work and the industry at large. As such, we were instrumental in forming the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Connecticut in 1947 and The Construction Institute at the University of Hartford in 1975.
Our people continue to support the mission of these organizations with knowledge, dedication and commitment to excellence. Our commitment to service is demonstrated by the fact that BBE leadership have held the position of AGC President four times– the only company to have this honor.

In 2017, Thomas M. Panczner was named President and Chief Executive Officer with James H. Eacott, III as Chairman of the Board, carrying on the family’s heritage and distinction as a fourth-generation led company.
